Strainer manufacturers
Strainers are mechanical filtration devices installed in pipelines to remove solids, debris, and contaminants from process fluids. They protect valves, pumps, flow meters and other equipment from wear, blockage and damage. Common designs include Y-strainers, basket strainers and duplex strainers, selected based on flow rate, maintenance requirements and available installation space.
Strainers are typically used in water, steam, oil, gas and chemical process systems. The mesh or perforation size is chosen according to the required level of filtration and the expected particle size in the medium. Duplex designs allow continuous operation during cleaning, while basket strainers are suited for higher flow volumes.
Strainers are widely used in industrial process lines, utility systems, heating and cooling circuits, and pump suction lines where reliable removal of foreign matter is required to maintain stable system performance.
