Rotary valve manufacturers
Rotary valves control or distribute bulk materials and gases by means of a rotating element inside a housing. In powder and granular material handling, a rotating vane or rotor transfers material between chambers or process stages while maintaining airlock and pressure separation. In process control systems, rotary valves can also regulate or isolate the flow of gases and liquids depending on their internal geometry and sealing design.
These valves are built in various configurations, including rotary airlocks, diverter valves, and rotary feeders. The housing and rotor materials are selected according to the characteristics of the handled media, such as abrasiveness, temperature, and chemical compatibility. Drive options include electric or pneumatic motors with adjustable speed for controlled discharge or feeding rates.
Rotary valves are widely used in pneumatic conveying systems, dust collection units, food and chemical processing, cement and plastics industries, and applications involving controlled bulk material flow. Proper selection considers particle size, required throughput, pressure differential, sealing tolerance, and maintenance accessibility.
