Plastic valve manufacturers
Plastic valves are used where corrosion resistance, low weight, and chemical compatibility are more important than high temperature or high pressure capability. They are typically made from materials such as PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, or PTFE, each selected to match the chemical properties and operating temperature of the process media. Because plastic does not corrode, these valves maintain consistent performance over time in aggressive or salt-containing environments.
Plastic valves are commonly available in ball, diaphragm, butterfly, and check valve configurations, with socket, threaded, or fusion-welded end connections. They may be manually operated or equipped with pneumatic or electric actuators when automated control is required. Seal and seat materials are selected according to fluid compatibility and desired shut-off performance.
These valves are widely used in water treatment, chemical dosing and transfer systems, semiconductor rinsing applications, aquaculture, and general industrial or laboratory service. Proper selection considers pressure and temperature limits, UV exposure, mechanical load on pipe supports, and compatibility with cleaning agents or disinfectants.
