Overflow valve manufacturers
Overflow valves are used to limit the maximum pressure in a system by diverting excess flow when the set pressure is reached. The valve opens automatically when the upstream pressure rises above the adjustment point, allowing fluid to return to a tank, reservoir, or low-pressure side of the circuit. When pressure returns to normal, the valve closes and the system resumes stable operation.
Overflow valves are commonly used in hydraulic systems, lubrication circuits, cooling loops, and circulation systems where maintaining a constant inlet pressure is important. They are often adjustable to allow fine tuning during commissioning. Design variations include spring-loaded, poppet, and diaphragm-controlled configurations depending on accuracy and response requirements.
Typical applications include pump protection, tank recirculation, hydraulic power units, industrial washing systems, and process equipment where continuous flow is maintained but pressure must not exceed safe limits. Proper selection considers operating pressure range, required flow capacity, media viscosity, temperature, and the need for stable repeatability under varying flow conditions
