Microvalve manufacturers
Microvalves are miniature valves designed to control very small flow rates in compact systems. They are used where precise dosing, low internal volume, and fast response are required, often in applications where conventional valve sizes would be impractical. The flow passage and actuator mechanism are scaled to allow accurate control of liquids or gases in milliliter or microliter ranges.
Microvalves may be actuated pneumatically, electrically, piezoelectrically, or thermally, depending on response time, power availability, and required control accuracy. Materials and seal designs are selected to minimize absorption, dead volume, and contamination, which is critical in analytical, biomedical, and high-purity environments.
These valves are used in laboratory automation, medical devices, microfluidic systems, environmental analyzers, ink and chemical dosing systems, and precision dispensing equipment. Proper selection considers fluid viscosity, required switching frequency, valve internal geometry, and chemical compatibility with the media being handled.
