Instrumentation valve manufacturers
Instrumentation valves are used in measurement, sampling, and control circuits to isolate, vent, calibrate, or direct small-diameter process lines. They are designed for precise shut-off, minimal internal volume, and stable sealing performance over repeated operation. Because they are often installed close to pressure transmitters, gauges, analyzers, or sampling points, tight dimensional tolerances and leak integrity are essential.
Common types include needle valves, manifold valves, bleed and vent valves, mini ball valves, and gauge valves. Connections are typically threaded or compression tube fittings to allow reliable installation in instrument tubing systems. Materials are selected based on media compatibility, pressure rating, and required corrosion resistance, with stainless steel being standard for industrial service.
Instrumentation valves are used in chemical and refinery units, oil and gas processing, power generation, laboratory and test systems, water treatment, and general process monitoring applications. Proper selection considers allowable leakage class, required flow control precision, pressure and temperature rating, and the specific measurement or isolation function in the instrument loop.
