Hydraulic actuator manufacturers
Hydraulic actuators use pressurized hydraulic fluid to generate high force for operating valves under demanding pressure or torque conditions. The actuator converts fluid pressure into linear or rotary motion through a piston or vane mechanism. Because hydraulic systems can deliver high power in a compact size, these actuators are used where electric or pneumatic actuators cannot provide sufficient operating force.
Hydraulic actuators are commonly applied to gate, globe, ball, and butterfly valves in high-pressure pipelines, safety shutdown systems, subsea equipment, and remote installations where precise and reliable control is required. They may be configured for on/off or modulating service and can include position feedback, manual override, fail-safe return, and integration with control systems.
Applications include oil and gas production, power generation, high-pressure steam and water systems, refinery and petrochemical service, and offshore or underwater environments. Selection considers required output torque or thrust, hydraulic supply pressure, environmental conditions, fail-safe strategy, and compatibility with the plant’s hydraulic control infrastructure.
