Fluoropolymer lined valve manufacturers
Fluoropolymer lined valves use an internal lining of PTFE, PFA, FEP, or other fluoropolymer materials to isolate the process media from the metallic valve body. This provides high resistance to corrosion, chemical attack, and contamination, making these valves suitable for aggressive acids, alkalis, solvents, and high-purity applications. The lining also minimizes product adhesion, supporting reliable operation with sticky or viscous fluids.
These valves are available in ball, butterfly, plug, and diaphragm configurations and may be manually operated or equipped with pneumatic or electric actuators. The selection of lining material depends on chemical compatibility, temperature range, and mechanical stress tolerance. Seat and seal designs are chosen to maintain consistent sealing performance without excessive torque or deformation.
Fluoropolymer lined valves are commonly used in chemical processing, semiconductor manufacturing, water treatment systems, pharmaceutical production, and industrial applications where metal corrosion must be prevented. Proper specification considers temperature cycling, vacuum conditions, permeation resistance, and potential mechanical wear of the lining during long-term service.
