Diverter valve manufacturers
Diverter valves are used to direct flow from a single inlet to one of two or more outlet paths. The internal plug, disc, or rotor changes position to switch the flow route without requiring separate piping or multiple isolation valves. This allows equipment or process branches to be brought online or offline without interrupting upstream operation.
Diverter valves are available in rotary plug, ball, and butterfly-style configurations for liquids and gases, as well as specialized slide or rotor valves for powders, granulates, and pneumatic conveying systems. The choice of valve style depends on media characteristics, sealing requirements, temperature, and the desired switching speed.
Typical applications include process bypass loops, batch and continuous dosing systems, tank filling and distribution lines, filter or separator changeover, and dry material handling in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, cement, and bulk solids processing. Proper selection considers flow direction changes, pressure differential, actuator type, and the need for position indication or interlocking for safe switching.
