Diaphragm valve manufacturers
Diaphragm valves use a flexible diaphragm to isolate the process media from the valve body and operating mechanism. The diaphragm is pressed against a weir or seat to stop flow, and lifted to allow flow through the valve. Because the media does not contact the stem or actuator, diaphragm valves provide a clean internal flow path and eliminate the need for traditional stem packing.
They are commonly used for corrosive liquids, slurries, viscous media, and high-purity fluids where contamination control is important. Body materials may include plastics, stainless steel, and lined metal constructions, while diaphragms are selected based on chemical compatibility, temperature, and cycle life requirements. Diaphragm valves are available in both weir-type and straight-through (full-bore) designs depending on the flow characteristics needed.
Typical application areas include chemical processing, water treatment systems, mining and mineral slurry circuits, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage processing. Diaphragm valves can be manually operated or automated with pneumatic or electric actuators, and are often used for both on/off and moderate control service
