Ceramic valve manufacturers
Ceramic valves use ceramic-coated or fully ceramic internal components to provide high wear resistance in applications where metal valve trims would erode quickly. The hard, smooth ceramic surfaces tolerate abrasion from suspended solids and resist chemical attack from corrosive media, which allows long service life under continuous-duty or high-velocity flow conditions.
These valves are commonly used in slurries, mineral processing lines, fly ash handling, lime and gypsum slurry systems, pulp and paper stock, catalyst transfer, and other abrasive or erosive process streams. They are available in ball, gate, and pinch-style configurations, with the ceramic materials selected according to particle size, solids concentration, and flow velocity.
Ceramic valves are selected in systems where reliability and wear resistance are more critical than initial cost. Proper sizing considers slurry properties, expected pressure drop, valve geometry, and the anticipated wear pattern to maintain stable performance and predictable maintenance intervals.
