Back pressure regulator manufacturers

Back pressure regulators maintain a defined upstream pressure by opening to relieve flow when the setpoint is reached. Unlike pressure-reducing valves, which control downstream pressure, back pressure regulators stabilize the process side by controlling the minimum pressure at the inlet. They can be manually adjusted or actuated and are available with elastomer, PTFE or metallic diaphragms depending on media compatibility and required sensitivity.

Back pressure regulators are used in recirculation loops, pump discharge lines, filtration systems, dosing circuits, and batch reactors to prevent overpressure and maintain consistent flow profiles. They are suitable for liquids, gases and vapors, and are common in chemical processing, water treatment, fermentation systems, thermal oil loops and utility distribution networks.
